What are the historical and cultural heritages in Guizhou?

Pick a place to play in Guizhou, foreigners see fame, and locals rely on word of mouth. At the moment when major scenic spots are competing to be rated as AAAAA, in fact, tourists still like the kind of "niche destination" with few people and great.

Many landscapes are not prominent enough, but they are relatively low-key. When I was an editor, I met a writer who traveled around the world and explored world heritage, from China, Southeast Asia, Japan to India. What didn't attract me before has a new life in his lens and pen.

Many times, we are visiting the scenery as visual and sensory animals, looking for an experience that shines at the moment or has never been experienced before. In fact, what we feel dull is that we don't understand its origin and characteristics. This place is like a museum. It doesn't make much sense not to do homework or explain. After all, it is not the same performance.

In 2007

Libo

Libo is the sixth natural heritage in China and the first natural heritage listed in the World Heritage List in Guizhou. As Libo powder, I mentioned this place more than once.

In 2007, southern karst landforms such as Libo and Yunnan Shilin were included in the world natural heritage. The karst in the south of China is recognized as the region with the best karst characteristics and landform diversity in the world.

There are three typical karst landforms in southern China: peak forest (tower karst), peak cluster (cone karst) and stone forest. Libo is a typical karst terrain of peak forest and peak cluster.

Libo karst is composed of high conical karst peaks, deep closed depressions, sinking streams and long underground caves, which is a typical peak cluster landform that can be referenced by the whole world.

The core area of Libo is Daqi Xiaopaifang Scenic Area and Maolan Scenic Area, surrounded by public buffer zones. The scenic area is 295 18 hectares, and the buffer area is 43498 hectares. Maolan is a national nature reserve.

There are carbonate outcrops of different ages here, and after millions of years of erosion, impressive peak clusters and peak forest karst have been formed. More importantly, the scenic spot retains most of the natural vegetation. With the change of seasons, you can enjoy different scenery here.

Chishui Danxia Waterfall

Chishui City is located in the northwest of Guizhou Province. Chishui Danxia successfully applied for World Heritage at the 34th World Heritage Conference on October 20 10, and became a world natural heritage together with other Danxia landforms in China.
