Jin Canran's life story

1936 was admitted to the history department of Peking University. Peking University went to Yan 'an from April 065438 to April 0938, studied in the First Brigade of China People's Anti-Japanese Military and Political University in Wayaobao, then studied in Marxism-Leninism College, and then worked as a researcher in the history research office of Marxism-Leninism College. 1September, 938, joined the China * * * production party. From the summer solstice of 1949 to the beginning of 1958, he worked in the Textbook Editorial Committee of North China People's Government, People's Education Publishing House, Editorial Department of the General Administration of Publishing of the Central People's Government, People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Culture and other units, and successively served as secretary director, office director, deputy hall (bureau) director of books and periodicals department, and director of publishing bureau. He once edited Book Review, the supplement of People's Daily.

From 65438 to 0958, Zhonghua Book Company was reorganized into a professional publishing house to sort out and publish ancient books and contemporary scholars' research works on literature, history and philosophy. He used to be a member of the State Council Ancient Books Publishing Planning Group, director of the office, general manager and editor-in-chief of Zhonghua Book Company. In the meantime, he presided over, organized, sorted out or photocopied many famous ancient books and the works of a group of experts and scholars, such as Twenty-four History, Zi Tongzhi Jian, Yuan Gui, Yongle Dadian, All Ancient Three Dynasties, Records of the Three Kingdoms in Qin, Han and Six Dynasties, Wenyuan Huaying, All Tang Poems and Song Poems, which had a great influence on academic circles at home and abroad. 1959, with the support of the people's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education, and at the initiative of Jin Canran and others, the Chinese Department of Peking University established the major of classical literature to train the younger generation of ancient books collation and research talents. He wrote books such as "The History of Soviet Movement" and assisted Fan Wenlan in writing "A Brief History of China".
