# Good book recommendation # Shan Hai Jing

Shan Hai Jing is an ancient book of China, written by Chu or Bashu people from the middle and late Warring States Period to the early Han Dynasty. It is also a fantastic book. The author of this book is unknown. The ancients thought that this book was "the work of the curious people in the Warring States period, Zhuang Zaji, Biography, Lisao, Zhou Shu and Jincheng". Modern scholars also believe that writing a book is not an instant, and the author is not a person. There are 18 articles in Shan Hai Jing, and other chapters have long been lost.

Nanshan Jing records the natural features, birds, animals and their products of three series of mountain systems headed by Diaoyao Mountain, Guishan Mountain and Tianyu Mountain.

The Road Map of Beijing-Hangzhou Road (Partial) was painted blue and green on the silk background in the middle of Qing Dynasty, with a length of 78.5cm and a width of 1783.6cm, which was collected by Zhejiang Museum.

This map of the middle Qing Dynasty, from Beijing to Hangzhou, shows the terrain along the Grand Canal in the form of painting, which not only has the corresponding geographical orientation, but also vividly reflects the landscape. It can be called a masterpiece of map and painting.

As for Shan Hai Jing, Professor Zhang Bu Tian, an expert on Shan Hai Jing, believes that it was written by the ancients according to the investigation results of 26 routes taken by generations in different dynasties before the Western Han Dynasty. Because the route is not formed at one time, each map reflects a different age. This map is a road map drawn according to the book Shan Hai Jing by Professor Zhang Bu Tian, and records the geographical position of South Cixi from Yaoyao Mountain to Jiwei Mountain. Only nine mountains are recorded in the book. ?
