About Human Nature: Chronology of Bamboo Books

I recently learned about the chronicle of bamboo books, but I haven't read the original. I just learned it in some videos. Write down my thoughts after watching these videos first, and then read the chronicle of ancient bamboo books later. If possible, I will share my reading experience with you.

Some time ago, I learned the chronicle of bamboo books. Let's talk about the chronicle of this bamboo book first. This is a bamboo slip unearthed from a tomb, which was later sorted out and some of it is a historical record. This part is called bamboo annals.

This content is about history, similar to historical records. The difference is that the history we see in Historical Records is often positive. And the chronicle of bamboo books has opened a different history.

? According to historical records, Yao Chan is located in Shun. Shun later realized Yu's ability through Dayu's water control. And then passed it on to Yu. What is told here is a beautiful story, which tells the beautiful moral character of governing the country by virtue and appointing people on their merits in ancient times.

However, this story is recorded in the Annals of Bamboo Books. "Shun imprisoned Yao, but suppressed him in order not to see his father again" (quoted from Annals of Bamboo Books). The meaning of this sentence is obvious. It was Shun who imprisoned Yao and prevented his son from seeing him, so he became emperor. There are many other things that subvert history like this, so I won't write them out one by one. (After that, it is estimated that there will be my reading experience of Annals of Ancient Bamboo Books, and I will discuss it with you then. )

In short, both Shun and Yu gained political power by bloody means during that period. To tell the truth, when I know the true nature of this matter (maybe it will be overturned in the future), but I know that they are like this, I have a feeling that it is not very unexpected, as if this is right.

? A lot of history in the annals of bamboo books is contrary to what we know, full of darkness, violence and blood. At that time, when watching the video, I heard a sentence: after watching these unpleasant histories, you will feel that this is appropriate. This is human nature. After all, ancient people paid great attention to rights.

I was thinking, really? Is this human nature? But it seems that through many things, a voice tells me, yes, this is human nature. There is not so much beauty in human nature, and a lot of beauty comes from a constraint, not human nature, just like the consideration of whether you are good or born evil at the beginning of your life.

So what is human nature? In my perception, to be honest, I admire many great people, because they are selfless, they are giving, and they have read many beautiful stories. At that time, they will aspire to be such a person, but sometimes they will be a little tired on the road of growth, because they can't do it, just like I will sometimes be jealous, dissatisfied, have dark thoughts and hopes, and sometimes someone will be unlucky and have unspeakable dark thoughts.

At that time, I would wonder why some people can be so great and ignore the harm, so I restrained myself and told myself that you should be a beautiful person and a good person.

When I learned something about the chronicles of bamboo books, to be honest, I began to doubt that many of the past histories were not so beautiful. I began to make excuses for the evil of human nature, thinking that human beings are actually selfish and often not so beautiful.

But then I thought, what is human nature? Human nature is inherently evil, but when you grow up, you have to accept a series of kindness, make your nature good, and then tell you that this is what human nature should look like.

Or is it that human nature is good, and some people grow crooked in the process of growing up later, so they are so evil? I don't understand, and I'm a little confused.

But I think that human nature is probably that everyone has selfishness and a dark side. Many times, we can't even control the darkness of our thoughts, but we will control ourselves and tell us what beauty is with the civilization we know, the reason we have and what we have learned, so that we can overcome our evil and darkness. This is the place where human nature shines, because it is changeable, because we have overcome it, because we are moving towards beauty.

You see, obviously we have so many weaknesses in human nature, obviously my ideas are so bad, but I restrain myself from becoming better. This is what fascinates us all about human nature.

In fact, I don't know what human nature is, but I think human nature is always bound by civilization.

I read a passage and felt very good. I'll share it with you as the ending.

"I grew up to now, with my life, with my faith, tell me, I believe a word. There are no natural good people in this world, only bound civilized people. " (From a talk show about Doudou proposing marriage. )
