Competition background
In order to implement the Outline of the National Medium-and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan and the Law on the National Common Language, test the knowledge and application ability of college students, promote Chinese culture, enhance their awareness of standardizing the use of the national common language, and promote the coordinated development of language teaching and testing. Thousands of college students from Peking University, Tongji University and Wuhan University participated in the first two competitions, which were highly praised by many college teachers and students. Under the guidance of experts such as the Advisory Committee of the State Language Committee, the Reading and Writing Teaching Branch of China Chinese Newspaper Association continued to hold the "Third National College Students' Language and Writing Ability Competition" from August 5438, 2026 to February 65438, 2026. Introduction to the competition
Competition question type
1, national preliminary questions: true or false, multiple-choice questions, multiple-choice questions. The scope of preliminary examination includes but is not limited to pronunciation, typos, idioms and the interpretation of words. And examine the Chinese language and cultural foundation of the players from many aspects. After registration, there will be previous real questions and simulation exercises.
2. National final questions: proposition writing, reading aloud in Mandarin, and hard pen writing. Investigate the contestants in practical application. Will provide excellent works of previous research.
Competition grouping
In order to ensure the fairness and justice of the contest, this contest is divided into three groups: professional group, non-professional group and junior college student group, and each group presents awards separately.
Professional group: suitable for undergraduate and above students majoring in language and writing;
Non-professional group: suitable for undergraduate and above non-language majors;
Junior college students: suitable for junior college students to participate.
Registration process
1. Co-sponsored colleges and universities can register through their teachers and presidents.
2. The contestants can register directly in official website.
Venue
1. There is no co-organizer in our school. Participants need not concentrate on the preliminary competition, but can choose their own venue to log in to official website for the competition.
2. Our school has a co-organizer, and usually the instructor arranges the computer room or classroom to organize the contestants to participate in the competition.

Competition fee
30 yuan fees are charged by each person for system development, equipment, organization, publicity, proposition, expert review, transportation, meal supplement, award-winning certificates, bonuses, etc. There is no extra charge for the final.
