1. Lung yin deficiency. This product is sweet and tends to be bitter and cold. This product can tonify lung yin and clear lung heat. It is often used together with Ophiopogon japonicus, Adenophora adenophora, Almond, Mulberry Leaf and Scrophularia, which can nourish yin, moisten lung, clear lung-heat, relieve cough, relieve asthma and relieve sore throat.
2. Deficiency of stomach yin. This product can tonify stomach yin, promote fluid production to quench thirst, and clear stomach heat.
