Henan is a province rich in mineral resources and mining. Relying on the exploration and development of superior resources, Henan has successively formed Jiaozuo, Hebi, Pingdingshan, Puyang, Yima, Lingbao, Yongcheng, Wugang City, etc. A group of emerging industrial cities relying on the mining economy. Lingbao, Luanchuan and Tongbai in our province have been successively rated as "China's Golden City", "China's Molybdenum Capital" and "China's Trona Capital". With the acceleration of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, economic and social development will have an increasing demand for mineral resources. As the difficulty of geological prospecting increases, the recoverable reserves decrease, and the degree of mineral resource security needs to be improved. Therefore, the development of circular economy is of great significance.
Circular economy is a new development concept, with the efficient utilization and recycling of resources as the core, the principle of "reduction, reuse and resource utilization", and the principle of low pollution, low emission and high efficiency. An advanced economic development model with efficiency as its basic feature. In recent years, the provincial party committee and the provincial government have attached great importance to this work. It is hoped that the meeting will seriously summarize and exchange good experiences and new achievements in the development of circular economy in the mining field within the province, domestically and internationally, further emancipate the mind, change concepts, conduct in-depth discussions on the problems faced by our province, put forward practical suggestions, and promote the development of circular economy in the province.
