From the Qin Dynasty to the Three Kingdoms period, Viet Nam belonged to China and was under the jurisdiction of Chinese descendants. It was not until the Southern and Northern Dynasties that it became independent for a period of time, and it soon belonged to China. In the Tang Dynasty, Vietnam was called the capital of Annan at that time, Confucianism rose, and China culture was also popularized in Vietnam, resulting in the Vietnamese language today still retaining the accent of Chang 'an in the Tang Dynasty. They still live traditional festivals in China, such as Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and so on. The system is basically the same as that in ancient China, including the imperial examination system.
During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Vietnam was independent for some time. However, almost all the founders of dynasties were from China. The founder of the Li Dynasty was Lou Tai T from Fujian, and the founding king of the Chen Dynasty was also from Fujian, named Chen Taitong. Their dynasties retained a strong China cultural color and celebrated the same festivals as China, such as Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. They pretend to be Han Chinese, but they have another name for the people of China. For example, the Tang Dynasty was a Tang Dynasty person and the Ming Dynasty was a Ming Dynasty person, which shows their identity as China people. During the Qing Dynasty, Vietnam even rejected Manchu as Han Chinese, thinking that they were aliens.
Modern Vietnam no longer calls itself Han Chinese, and they will pay more attention to the distinction between these ethnic groups. 90% of Vietnam is mainly Jing nationality, also called Yue nationality. And their Chinese, Ngái people and good tourists mainly come from the original Han nationality or Hakka. The rest are Dai, Zhuang, Miao, Yao, Calais, Aidi and Bana. There are as many as 54 species, among which there are still China people.
