What is the difference between coated paper and coated paper?

Coated paper, commonly known as coated paper, has a wide variety and can be used to print all kinds of color printed matter. The types of coated paper are as follows:

1. Single coated paper: one side is coated with calendering and the other side is coated with glue. The two sides of paper have different properties and are suitable for printing on different sides.

2. Double coated paper: double coated and calendered, with glossy bottom and good dimensional stability, suitable for general color printing.

3. Super double-sided coated paper: double-sided coated and calendered, which has better luster than ordinary double-sided coated paper, smooth and detailed surface, and is suitable for printing bright articles that need to express metallic texture.

4. High-grade snow-coated (matt) coated paper: coated and calendered on both sides, but the gloss of the paper surface is low, and the silty surface does not hurt the eyes. It is suitable for printing non-reflective items such as Chinese painting replicas and clothing fabrics, giving people a simple and elegant feeling.

5. Xinli 2000 special coated paper: coated on both sides twice, and then calendered. It has good gloss and smoothness, and is suitable for printing high-grade color printed matter.

6. Embossed coated paper: paper coated on both sides and embossed, with low gloss. Because of embossing, the paper mask has a three-dimensional effect and is suitable for color printing such as oil painting reproduction and art advertisement design.

7. Lightweight coated paper: the surface is slightly coated, which has better surface performance than uncoated paper, and the quality is between coated paper and uncoated paper.

In order to meet different needs, lightweight coated paper includes picture paper, high paper picture paper, ivory forest paper, snow-white forest paper and magazine paper.

(a) Drawing paper: the surface is filled with a small amount of pigment to improve the printing performance of the paper. The paper has high whiteness, but low gloss and elegant feeling. Suitable for screen color printing higher than offset paper.

(2) Advanced drawing paper: the surface is smooth and delicate after a little paint and pressure light treatment, which is suitable for printing fine mesh paper prints. However, due to the reduction of pores on the paper surface after calendering, it has the characteristics of ink absorption and high ink holding performance.

(c) Ivory forest paper: the surface is slightly coated, the paper is soft ivory white, the texture is fine and smooth, and the readability is good, giving people a sense of high quality. Suitable for printing books, advanced books and other printed matter.

(d) Snow-white forest paper: micro-coated on both sides, with smooth surface and high whiteness, which can be preserved for a hundred years without discoloration, and is suitable for printing high-grade commercial periodicals, books, books and magazines.

(e) Magazine paper: the surface is coated and then calendered. The paper is very thin and has high opacity. After printing, the gloss is obviously increased. However, because it contains ground wood pulp, the paper is easy to turn yellow, which is suitable for printing magazines and books.
