What is the best book for me to read "Ming History"?

Ancient books can be read in Ming history, notebooks at the end of Ming history, a brief history of southern Ming, a brief history of northern Ming and a mirror, all of which are easier to understand. You can look at Meng Sen's Lecture Notes on Ming History and Chen's Ten Lectures on Ming History for research. Then there are Mao Peiqi's Mao Peiqi's Detailed Explanation of the Seventeen Emperors of the Ming Dynasty, Twenty Lectures of the Civilian Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, Fan Shuzhi's Late Ming History, The Last Seventeen Years of the Ming Dynasty and so on. Popular history had better have a book "Forgotten Prosperity".
