Eleventh Chinese medicine practitioners who have obtained the qualification of doctors after examination can practice in the clinical departments of medical institutions such as general hospitals, specialized hospitals and maternal and child health care institutions, and carry out medical activities according to their registered majors.
Traditional Chinese medicine doctors who have obtained the qualification of doctors after examination can apply modern scientific and technological methods related to their majors to carry out medical activities after passing the training and examination in accordance with relevant state regulations. Article 12 People's governments at or above the county level shall develop TCM preventive health care services, support medical institutions to carry out TCM health consultation and evaluation, intervention and conditioning, follow-up management and other preventive services, improve their preventive ability, and gradually establish a TCM preventive health care service system.
Encourage medical institutions to carry out TCM rehabilitation services, popularize appropriate technologies for TCM rehabilitation, and enhance the capacity of TCM rehabilitation services. Thirteenth people's governments at or above the county level shall support medical and health institutions to actively use the theory and technical methods of traditional Chinese medicine for disease prevention and control.
In emergency medical rescue, medical institutions can prepare or centrally decoct preventive Chinese medicines according to the requirements of the health administrative department of the people's government at or above the county level and the fixed prescription issued by the health administrative department of the people's government at the provincial level or approved by the pharmaceutical affairs management and drug treatment committee of Chinese medical institutions at or above the second level.
