The Department of Cultural Relics and Museums of Fudan University is a higher education institution which has been established for a long time and has great influence in China, and specializes in teaching and research of cultural relics. In the wave of reform and opening up, it came into being in order to meet the requirements of China's social modernization and improve the national cultural quality as soon as possible.
In February, 1984, Fudan University cooperated with National Cultural Heritage Administration to set up a national specialized course for cultural and cultural cadres in the Department of History.
in September of the same year, we enrolled a postgraduate course in the field of cultural and art.
in p>1985, the undergraduate major of museum science was set up.
In p>1989, Fudan University and National Cultural Heritage Administration jointly established Wenbo College, which consists of departments of cultural relics and museums, cultural relics protection technology and history.
In p>1996, the Department of Cultural Relics and Museums and the Department of Cultural Relics Protection Technology merged to form today's Department of Cultural Relics and Museums.
