Both Qin Shihuang and Zhu Yuanzhang were cruel. Why do they have different endings?

Both Qin Shihuang and Zhu Yuanzhang were cruel in history, so there should be no good ending. But it seems that Qin Ershi died, and the Ming Dynasty has been passed down for at least 200 years, so the ending is different! But this question is wrong, because the former is about the behavior of two emperors, while the latter's "ending" actually refers to the "ending" of two dynasties, which are different concepts.

In fact, if we don't compare the two dynasties, only Qin Shihuang and Zhu Yuanzhang themselves have no different endings. They have a long history of success, a fair death and a fair burial. When Qin Shihuang died, the national strength of the Qin Dynasty was in full swing. Qin Shihuang was the greatest monarch in the history of China, and his exploits surpassed those of the Three Emperors and Five Emperors. If Hu Hai hadn't cheated and Qin Shihuang II died, Qin Shihuang's image in history would be much better than it is now, although Qin Shihuang's image is already very high. So is Zhu Yuanzhang. Zhu Yuanzhang was the Xuandi of Daming when he died, and he had a good image as a monarch who ended troubled times. There is no difference between them.

However, from the perspective of the two dynasties, the ending was really quite different. Qin Ershi died, and the Ming Dynasty struggled for several years after Zhu Yuanzhang's death, but it quickly stabilized and passed on for more than 200 years. Why?

The biggest reason, of course, is that Qin Shihuang was unlucky. I think this is the most fundamental reason. Of course, I can tell many other reasons why I look taller. Of course, those reasons are basically deceptive. There is only one real reason. The "luck" of the Qin Dynasty has been exhausted. Because Hu Hai was so bad, it took only a few years to make a mess of the world and finally died. Moreover, this is not to say that Qin Shihuang did not train his successor well, but a matter of luck. Judging from the history of Qin Dynasty and Ming Dynasty, it is useless. Qin Shihuang actually trained Fu Su as his successor. Fu Su had good conditions in all aspects, but he actually chose to commit suicide and gave the world to Hu Hai with various advantages. This is not luck!

Zhu Yuanzhang, on the other hand, was ill-fated. He made great efforts to train Prince Zhu Biao. In fact, just like Fu Su, he has good conditions in all aspects, but his luck is worse than Fu Su's. He died short-lived before becoming emperor. Zhu Yunwen, his grandson, is estimated to be as good as Hu Hai. He liked tinkering and killed himself. But Zhu Yuanzhang was lucky. Zhu Yuanzhang gave birth to a "disobedient" son, Judy. If Judy wants to kill him like Fu Su and Zhu Yunwen, he will kill himself. The fate of the Ming dynasty will not be much better than that of the Qin dynasty.

Finally, the most important point of this problem, or the most fundamental reason, is that there is still a misunderstanding between the subjects, that is, the cruel emperor has no good end. In fact, history is not like this. The end of an emperor or dynasty has nothing to do with whether he is cruel or not. As far as its cruelty is concerned, Judy is comparable to Qin Shihuang and Zhu Yuanzhang, and his fate is also very good.
