Jiyuan Coalfield ()

Jiyuan Coalfield spans Jiyuan City and Qinyang, Mengxian, Boai and other counties and cities, covering an area of ??approximately 760 square kilometers. Jiyuan coalfield belongs to the Carboniferous-Permian coalfield. There are 9 layers of mineable and partially mineable coal, including anthracite, lean coal, lean coal, and partially coking coal.

According to ancient records, there were coal mining activities along the foothills of the Taihang Mountains in the Tang Dynasty, and large kiln mining occurred in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

In 1916, "Coalfields and Coal Mining in Henan" written by Xin Changfu briefly described the Huaiqingfu coalfield in Qinyang connected with the Xiuwu coalfield, the coal produced in the Jiyuan County coalfield, and the Yellow River area. There are many shippers.

In 1930, Hou Defeng wrote "Geology of Xiuwu Qinyang Coal Field in Henan Province".

In 1937, the Henan Geological Survey conducted geological surveys in Kejing District based on the mining conditions of "Zhenxing" and "Yushun" companies, and compiled a 1:500,000 geological map.

In 1941, Morita Hitsuji of the Investigation Bureau of Northern China Development Co., Ltd. conducted geological surveys in Jiyuan County, Henan Province, and wrote the "Overview Report on the Carbon Beds in the Southeast Area of ??Jiyuan County, Henan Province." At the same time, Yoshio Oguchi conducted a geological survey on the Jiyuan Dashe coal area and wrote the "Jiyuan (Dashe) Carbon Field Survey Report of Henan Province", believing that the area contained coal in an area of ??23 square kilometers and had reserves of 210 million tons.

In 1948, the Henan Provincial Geological Survey compiled the "Henan Provincial Coal Mine Chronicle", which summarized the geography, geology and mineral conditions of the Dashe Yuanchang coal area in Jiyuan County and the Yeshu Town coal area in Meng County. The bituminous coal reserves in Dashe Yuanchang Coal District are approximately 17.5 million tons. There are approximately 430,000 tons of bituminous coal in the Yeshu Town coal area.

In January 1956, Ling Yumen, Li Haoxue, Fei Minghe and others published the "Jiyuan County Coal Mine Geology Report", which covers Dashe in the east, 600 meters west of Xunzhang in the west, and Miaozhuang in the north. , the coal mining area to Tangshizhuang in the south, has calculated geological reserves of 435.91 million tons.

The 125th Geological Exploration Team of the Zhongnan Coalfield Geological Exploration Bureau (technical manager Zhu Zhongchun) entered the Jiyuan Coalfield to conduct geological exploration, and compiled the "Boai Jiyuan Overview Geological Survey Report" on March 27, 1957. In December, the "Overview Geological Survey Report on Xiaye District in Western Jiyuan" was compiled, with estimated reserves of 122.27 million tons. At the same time, the "Jiyuan Coalfield Retention Area Work Summary in 1957" was also compiled. In January 1958, the "Census Report and Detailed Survey Design of Kejing District of Jiyuan Coalfield" was compiled. On September 15 of the same year, the "Geological Report of Kejing Exploration Area in Jiyuan Coalfield" was compiled.

On December 30, 1958, Team 101 of the Henan Provincial Coalfield Geology Bureau compiled the "Geological Report on Exploration in the Eastern Kejing, Jiyuan Coalfield" and the "Geological Report on Baijian General Survey".

In November 1959, the Geological Exploration Team No. 3 of the Metallurgical and Coal Department (technical director Zhao Qinye) compiled the "Geological Survey Report on Kejing" (the annual review in 1962 was downgraded to a detailed survey).

In 1972, the Geological Team No. 2 of the Geological Exploration Company of the Henan Provincial Construction Committee compiled the "Shaoyuan Jianggeda Prospecting Geological Report" and the "Xiaye Temple Detailed Geological Survey Report."

In 1985, the hydrology team of Jiaozuo Mining Bureau compiled the "Report on the Precise Geology of Renzhuang Small Well in Jiyuan Kejing Mining Area".

As of the end of 1991, the total proven coal reserves in Jiyuan Coalfield were 274 million tons, and the remaining reserves were 239 million tons. There are four minefields available for well construction: No. 2 Well in Kejing Mining Area, Renzhuang Well, Qiaozhuang Minefield and Taihang Coal Mine, which have been used by local governments to build mines. The annual output of raw coal is 800,000-1 million tons.
