The ancient text "Shang Shu" has many sources. The most unique feature is that it comes from private collections in the wall of the Han Dynasty. According to legend, it was discovered by King Lu Gong when he was demolishing a section of the wall of Confucius' former residence. It was later compiled by Kong Anguo, a descendant of Confucius. The content of the ancient "Shang Shu" passed down to later generations also included parts of the ancient "Shang Shu", but it was a forgery.

In this sense, the 25 "pseudo-ancient texts" are also a way for modern people to get a glimpse of the 100-part "Shangshu" in the pre-Qin Dynasty.
