Why is Jizhou the first of Kyushu?

First, ancient Jizhou has the largest territory. "Ji, big also". The three generations include the northeast of the big river (referring to the Yellow River). It is recorded in Erya Dish that "the two rivers are called Ji". The so-called two rivers refer to the vast area between Qinghe (Liaohe) and Xihe (Yellow).

Second, ancient Jizhou is the land of imperial capital. According to legend, the capital of Tang Yao is Pingyang (now south of Linfen County, Shanxi Province), the capital of Yu Shun is Puban (now southeast of Yongji County, Shanxi Province), and the capital of Yu Xia is Anyi (now Xie Xian County, Shanxi Province), all of which are in ancient Jeju. Therefore, "Gu Liangchuan Yang Shixun Shu" said: "Jizhou is the state of the world. Since Tang Yu and Xia Yin are both Shu Han, Jizhou is the permanent residence of the son of heaven "; Erguo pointed out: Jizhou "has a dangerous place, which is the capital of emperors". Jizhou is called the head of Kyushu because it is "the place where the king's achievements lie".

Third, Dayu's water control began in Hebei. "Shangshu Justice" explained, "Kyushu is second, the water control is orderly, and the water is unclean. When water is discharged from the bottom, water control starts from the bottom. Jizhou is the imperial capital, near the northern part of Kyushu. So, the first thing is to start. " He said, "Jizhou is the capital of Yao, so Yu Zhi Shui began in Jizhou."
