Matters needing attention in writing footnotes of papers:

When editing footnotes in word, you can use Word to make automatic tag numbers or create custom tags.

When adding, deleting or moving automatically numbered comments, Word renumbers the reference marks of the comments, but only when the ScreenTip dialog box is selected in the View tab of the Options dialog box can you see the footnotes marked on the screen in the above way.

Of course, you can also double-click the annotation reference mark and move the cursor directly to the annotation area, so you can also view the annotation.

You can also select the Footnotes option box in the View dialog box to view the comments. However, if the document contains both footnotes and endnotes, a dialog box for viewing footnotes will pop up. At this point, you need to select the corresponding option box and click OK to view the corresponding comments.

In fact, when writing footnotes, the writing of the paper has come to an end, and then you need to check the paper again.
