Ninety volumes were compiled first, then ten volumes were supplemented, and 68 1 poem was collected. It is a large-scale collection with great scale and unique opinions. The compilation work lasted more than ten years, twenty-six years in Hongwu of Ming Dynasty (1393), and it became ninety volumes. In the thirty-first year of Hongwu (1398), 61 books were added, and 954 poems were divided into ten volumes, making a hundred volumes. This book clearly divides Tang poetry into four stages: early, prosperous, middle and late, with special emphasis on the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Each poem is divided into nine parts, starting from the early Tang Dynasty, the prosperous Tang Dynasty is authentic, famous artists and wings, the middle Tang Dynasty is martial arts, the late Tang Dynasty is positive change and echo, and outsiders are the sidestream. His advocacy of prosperous Tang Dynasty and regional diversification showed the world the correct way to learn Tang poetry. His selection and analysis of poems were very insightful, which received wide response and had a far-reaching impact on the trend of respecting Tang Dynasty in Ming Dynasty. 1988 Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House re-photocopied this book with Wang Zongni's engraving.
