Idiom story:
Song Taizong Zhao Guangyi likes reading books on literature and history. He called the writer Li Yun and others and asked them to write a big dictionary.
It took Li Yun and others seven years to extract 1600 kinds of ancient books. In the Taiping period, the Taiping general category with volume * * * 1000 was finally compiled. Emperor Taizong was very happy to see this masterpiece. He stipulates that he must read three volumes of books every day. Sometimes, due to the busy state affairs, he can't read as planned. He will make up the book as soon as he is free in the future. The courtiers saw that Song Taizong was too tired to read this thick book and suggested that he have a rest. Song Taizong said to them: Opening books is good, and I don't feel tired!
Because this book was read by the emperor, it was later renamed Taiping Yulan.
Opening books is beneficial, which means reading is beneficial. Later generations often encourage people to study hard.
