The distance between the two tombs is less than 10 meter, and archaeologists are digging.
There is a very popular movie in Korea: The King's Man. What is the emperor's man like? In order to cooperate with the construction of the Southern Dynasties Stone Carving Site Park, Nanjing Archaeological Department is excavating Yongning Mausoleum. At present, two tombs of the Southern Dynasties have been found, which are 16 meters long and about 7 meters wide. It is speculated that the tomb owner may be Chen. And Chen, in unofficial history, is a gay emperor. In the history of China, he put forward the concept of "male queen" for the first time and for the last time. This "male queen" is named Han Zigao.
Two rare "hand in hand" tombs of Shizichong in Xinhe Village, Qixia Street, Qixia District, Nanjing have been silently guarded by a pair of stone carvings. Since 2009, experts from the Archaeological Department of Nanjing Museum have been searching around the stone carvings. Finally, 350 meters north of the stone carving, two large tombs of the Southern Dynasties were discovered. Looking from a distance, two graves, one on the left and one on the right, "recline" on the mountain.
The distance between the two ancient tombs is 10 meter. According to visual inspection, the two ancient tombs are about the same size, with a pit length of16m and a width of about 7m. In Nanjing, such a grand tomb of the Southern Dynasties is very rare. Two ancient tombs, one oval and one rectangle, are about 10 meter apart. Interestingly, archaeologists excavated a "bridge" connecting two ancient tombs. There seems to be a brick between the two ancient tombs, which seems to have the feeling of "holding hands".
At the scene, archaeologists dug up the tomb bricks near the mountain. These tomb bricks are laid in a "three horizontal and one vertical" way. In addition to Da Lian petals and Nelly petals, there are complex patterns similar to mountains and rivers. The tomb bricks with characters are arranged at intervals, and the words "West", "Urgent" and "Big" are engraved on them, which seems to tell some secrets.
Looking forward to finding the tomb owner's "identity card", archaeologists said that during the Southern Dynasties, there were many lotus bricks used by people with higher status. Those mysterious writing bricks have little to do with the owner of the tomb, and they were probably used to indicate the location when they were burned at that time.
At present, no cultural relics related to the owner's identity have been found in these two tombs. Experts expect to find cultural relics representing the owner's identity in the ancient tomb. For example: epitaphs, cultural relics with inscriptions, etc.
The Shinto stone carvings around the stone carvings were also excavated by archaeologists. One left and one right are male, the two horns of Tianlu in the east and the unicorn in the west. The two animals are slender and majestic, and are regarded as the epitome of Shinto stone carving art in the tombs of the Southern Dynasties.
There are also archaeological excavations around the stone carvings. The north side of the stone carving was cleared into a square "grid". The stone carving itself has also been cleaned up.
Archaeologists told reporters that there are not many important gains at present. What is really worth looking forward to is the two tombs of the Southern Dynasties buried more than 300 meters north of the stone carvings.
Chen Wendi and his male queen? Who are the owners of the two tombs? On the edge of the stone carving, there is a national key cultural relic protection monument, which reads: Yongning Mausoleum. That is, during the Southern Dynasties, the second generation emperor of the Chen Dynasty, Chen.
According to local records, Chen was probably buried in this area after his death. A pair of stone carvings in Yongning Mausoleum are Tianlu and Qilin respectively. According to the tomb system of the Southern Dynasties, they should "guard" a tomb of the Southern Dynasties. According to unofficial history's records, Chen was a gay emperor, and the stone carvings in his mausoleum were all male. Therefore, some experts speculate that this mountain may be 1400 years ago. Could the owner of the tomb be Chen He?
According to official records, Chen was the second emperor of the Chen Dynasty in the Northern and Southern Dynasties and the eldest son of Chen Daotan, the founding emperor of the Chen Dynasty. His reign was from 559 to 566, and his title was Tianjia. In 566, Chen Wendi died at the age of 44 and was buried in Yongning Mausoleum.
In unofficial history, Chen is a homosexual, and his beloved person is. Han Zigao, whose real name is Man Zi, was born at the grassroots level. For generations, he has been a street vendor making shoes. A younger brother who sells shoe stalls, but very handsome. Feng Menglong said in "Love History" that Han Zigao "looks gorgeous, slim and fair, with cicada's head sticking to cheeks, and naturally flies moths' eyebrows, which makes people feel uncomfortable". Once, I met the young general Chen at that time. When they met, it was almost love at first sight. This year, 16 years old, Chen is 22 years old. Chen thought the name was too vulgar, so he changed it. A man became a nickname between them.
Later, Chen Huangpao joined the group and wanted Han Zigao to be the "queen". Later, under pressure, the seal failed, but the only thing that Queen Chen recognized was that he was alone ... When Chen died, everyone left except. As in those days, I served myself, took medicine, poured urine, and lay in the hospital bed together until Chen died. This scene is bloodier than Brokeback Mountain.
Prince Zhaoming and his mother? However, in archaeology, scholars have always believed that lions and stone beasts are not guarding Chen's Yongning Mausoleum. Some scholars believe that the lion stone carving in the mausoleum belongs to Liu Yilong, Song Wendi in the Southern Dynasties. Some people think that this is the tomb of Xiao Yi, Emperor of Liang Yuan. Chen Wendi Chen Yongning's mausoleum is somewhere else. Nanjing archaeologists once excavated a tomb of the Southern Dynasties near the Lingshan Mountain in Xianlin. Some scholars believe that the tomb of the Southern Dynasties in Lingshan is the real Yongning Mausoleum.
Nanjing archaeologist Wang Zhigao believes that the owners of these two ancient tombs should be Prince Liang Zhaoming and his mother. During the Six Dynasties, there were many cases in which mother and son lived in the same tomb.
Because it is difficult to confirm the identity of the tombs of the Six Dynasties, it is impossible to confirm which person's tomb the Lion Chong Shi Qilin of the Six Dynasties belongs to without archaeology. Whether this is Yongning Mausoleum or not must be confirmed by unearthed cultural relics.
