There are two stories related to Angelica sinensis in the History of the Three Kingdoms. The first book is the biography of the reflection of Wu Shu Taishi Ci. Cao Cao heard that Taishi Ci had played for Wu Dong and knew that he was very talented. So he told him to abandon it to Wei, that is, he sent someone to write a letter containing angelica. The second book is The Story of the Three Kingdoms, Shu Shu and Jiang Weichuan. In the sixth year of Jianxing, Ma Zun, the satrap of Tianshui County of Wei State, was extremely unfriendly to Jiang Wei. Suspecting that he had infidelity, Jiang Wei resolutely took refuge in Zhuge Liang. Knowing that Jiang Wei is a rare talent, Wei's advisers tried their best to win his "return". Knowing that Jiang Wei was a dutiful son, they took his mother to Luoyang and induced her to write a letter to Jiang Wei. The envelope contained angelica, which meant that Jiang Wei was going back to Wei.
After receiving the letter, Jiang Wei understood its meaning. But after careful consideration, he thought that Shu Han was orthodox, and Zhuge Liang trusted and valued himself very much. He thought that when the Central Plains was unified, it would be the day of mother-child reunion. At that time, I might as well resign and go back to my hometown to serve my mother. So he wrote back to his mother, attaching some herbs to express his ambition: "A hundred hectares of fertile land, not an acre (mother); But ambitious, not in angelica. " Knowing a son like a mother, mother Jiang received a letter from her son and said with great understanding, "My son has a long-term vision, but my mother has nothing to ask for."
Later, Wei forced to write to persuade Jiang Wei to abandon Shu as Wei and refused. After Jiang Wei's death, Shu people admired him very much and built Jiang Wei Temple in Jiange, where he had been stationed for many years. Also known as Jianggong Temple, there is a cloud in the temple:
Xiongguan is majestic, heroic, straight and enthusiastic, heroic and heroic;
There is water and mountains, and the sun sets, sending angelica in the air.
