What's the difference between design paper and construction paper?

Different uses

Design drawings are creative drawings, and construction drawings are drawings used to guide actual construction. Design drawing generally refers to the scheme drawing of architectural specialty. It is the scheme diagram, which is used to express the designer's overall design concept, functional division, streamline layout, facade modeling, color and so on.

Construction drawings are used to guide construction, including architectural structure, plumbing, electrical and other majors. The depth is higher than the plan, and the detail size and construction method should be explained in detail.

Architectural engineering drawings are divided into

1. The construction drawing includes construction site plan, building plan, building elevation, building profile and building details.

2. Structural construction drawings include foundation plan, foundation profile, roof structure layout, floor structure layout, column, beam slab reinforcement diagram, stair diagram, structural component diagram or table, and necessary details.

3. Equipment construction drawings include heating construction drawings, electrical construction drawings, ventilation construction drawings and water supply and drainage construction drawings.
