A Dictionary of Appreciation of Tang and Song Ci (two volumes) published by Shanghai Dictionary is recommended. Shanghai Dictionary Edition Classic Literature Appreciation Dictionary Series is very classic and has formed a brand. This set of books actually has a Dictionary of Appreciation of Song Ci, but the Dictionary of Appreciation of Tang and Song Ci is more valuable. The songs in the two books are exactly the same. The Dictionary of Appreciation of Ci Poetry in Tang and Song Dynasties contains many vernacular parts of Tang, Five Dynasties and Jin Dynasties, including Wen, Wei Zhuang, Li Yu and Yuan Haowen.
Jiangsu ancient book edition of Tang and Song Ci appreciation dictionary (one volume) is also very good. I bought both.
