Throughout the ages, magical powers have always existed. With the function of clairvoyance, you can see a person's future, see what will happen in the future, and predict your own luck.
Modern science is also studying supernatural powers. Although it is difficult for modern science to explain, it is real. In Buddhist allusions, folklore, and mythological stories, supernatural powers are relatively common. A well-trained monk or Taoist can possess such ability.
The magical functions currently recognized in the world include specific actuation, non-eye image recognition of the human body, remote viewing, clairvoyance, telepathy, etc. This is the conclusion established by modern science. In fact, it can be found from ancient books that many literati, generals, famous doctors, warlocks or ordinary people who value virtue and do good and are rich in cultivation have magical powers that modern people find incredible.
"Qing Bai Lei Chao" records a strange person who has the power of clairvoyance and can see a person's future, see what will happen in the future, and predict his own luck.
During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, there was a person in Cixi County, Zhejiang Province, let us call him A for the time being. A certain person inadvertently possesses the power of clairvoyance. He can clearly see what will happen in the future, the characters in the scene, and their ongoing activities. No matter how far away it is, it seems to him as if it is right in front of him. He claimed that he would die before he was thirty, and that even though he had clairvoyance, he could not change his life span.
One day, A was staying in his room and saw a raging fire burning in his house. His family members fled in a hurry. He heard everyone's howling in fear, and saw neighbors beating gongs and shouting. , calling on everyone to come together to put out the fire. At that time, the house where A was staying was safe and sound.
A told his family about the incident and asked them to take precautions and stay away from home temporarily. After hearing this, the family members sneered and disapproved. About ten days later, a fire broke out. The fire scene was exactly the same as what he saw more than ten days ago. Only then did people begin to believe that what A said was true. If he had listened to the advice at that time, why would he have suffered such a disaster?
There is a person in the village, let’s call him B. He roamed the countryside on weekdays, and people hated him. One day, A saw his "future", so he wrote a volume of documents, sealed it and gave it to B. At the same time, he was warned that he must only open it in times of crisis and never open it at ordinary times.
Later, because B forced an old woman in the neighborhood to death, he was arrested by the official and taken to the county government. Person B knew that there was no way to survive. At this moment, he suddenly remembered the scroll that Person A had given him before, and quickly opened it and read it.
It turns out that the document contains detailed confessions and comments about the case, reports from the six gentry in the village, documents from the inspector, as well as the funeral ceremony, etc., all written down one by one. After looking at it, Person B was shocked and collapsed to the ground. Later, the outcome of Person B was as stated in the document, and everything came true.
A certain person also saw the "Gengzi Rebellion" (i.e. Boxer Rebellion) that occurred in the late Qing Dynasty, the fierce fighting between the Eight-Power Allied Forces, Cixi and Guangxu's escape, and the suffering of the people through the clairvoyance.
From then on, a certain person cried day and night and was speechless. When his family asked him, he would only give a brief explanation. A few days later, A passed away at the age of twenty-eight. As he said in the past, he died before he was thirty. The family was packing up his belongings and found a writing under his pillow. It’s just that his family is illiterate and doesn’t know what’s written on it.
About three years later, Boxer bandits were rampant, setting fires and killing people, and the situation became increasingly violent. This year, his family gave the manuscript under his pillow to a literate person to read. It turned out that it contained the edict of Guangxu and Cixi. At that time, the imperial edict had not yet been issued to the province, but a certain person saw all this with his clairvoyance during his lifetime.
On December 26, the twenty-sixth year of Guangxu’s reign, due to the Gengzi Rebellion, Guangxu and Cixi issued an edict to punish others. The local government obtained a certain posthumous document and found that the content, number of lines, and even the color of the paper were the same as those of the imperial edict. After everyone was shocked, they came to a certain person's tomb to pay homage, offering fragrant flowers and offering sacrifices incessantly.
