Brief introduction of Qingyuan library

Qingyuan Library was founded in 1956, and its predecessor was Qingyuan County Library. 1988 65438+1October 7th, Qingyuan prefecture-level city was established with the approval of the State Council, and it was formally established on February 28th of the same year. So Qingyuan County Library was upgraded to Qingyuan City Library. The new museum was completed in 2003 and officially opened to the public in 2006. At present, Qingyuan Library has formed a situation of one library and two houses. The new library is located in the book museum building of Yinquan North Road, Xincheng District, and the old library is located in Building 8, Left Lane, Gong Xue Street, Qingcheng District (now it has been changed to Qingyuan Children's Library). The total collection of new and old museums is about 400,000 pieces (including nearly 2 1 of the municipal museum and 1 of the municipal children's museum)1.
