Introduction: The Chinese Department now has four undergraduate majors (directions): Chinese language and literature, Chinese language and literature teachers' direction, Chinese language and literature secretarial direction (correspondence) and drama, film and television literature. The Chinese Department is an authorized unit for master's degree in first-class disciplines. At present, there are eight master's degree programs in literature and art (198 1 approved), comparative literature and world literature (198 1 approved), Chinese philology (1984 approved), linguistics and applied linguistics, and ancient China. At present, the Chinese Department has three doctoral degree authorization points and 1 postdoctoral research mobile station in the field of language and literature in China.

(2) History Department
Introduction: The History Department is composed of four teaching and research sections, namely, Chinese-foreign relations teaching and research section, modern history teaching and research section of China, ancient history teaching and research section of China, world history teaching and research section, reference room, cultural relics room and office, and three administrative departments. There are 30 faculty members in the department, including 27 full-time teachers (Gao Zheng 1 1, associate senior 10, doctor 17, 6 masters and 20 graduate tutors).

Introduction: China Institute of Cultural History (Institute of Ancient Books) consists of China Historical Literature and Culture Research Office, China Classical Literature and Culture Research Office, Hong Kong and Macao Overseas Literature and Culture Research Office (Hong Kong and Macao Historical Culture Research Center, China Christian History Research Center), offices and reference rooms.
