The Story of Nu Wa 1 Legend of Nu Wa
Nu Wa is an anticlimactic goddess formed after Pangu's creation, wandering between heaven and earth. Nu Wa strolls around the earth, looking around, the mountains are rolling, the rivers are running, the jungle is dense, the vegetation is flourishing, birds in the sky, animals on the ground are running, fish are playing in the water, and insects are jumping in the grass. It is said that the world is also beautifully decorated. But she doesn't know why there is always an unspeakable loneliness. When the wicked woman swam along the Yellow River and looked down to see her beautiful shadow, she was overjoyed. She wants to create a better creature than the existing one according to her appearance.
Nu Wa was ingenious, and made many clay figurines out of river mud. These clay figurines are almost exactly like her, but she made them legs that match their hands. When Nu Wa blew on the clay figurines, they "came alive" and became a group of smart little things that could run and jump. Nu Wa called them "people".
Nu Wa wants people to spread all over the vast land, but it is too slow. So she put a branch into the mud at the bottom of the river and stirred it, and then threw the branch wrapped in river mud to the ground. No matter where the mud spots fall, those mud spots become little people. In this way, Nu Wa created people all over the globe.
One day, she wandered to a place with few people. After careful examination, she saw many little people lying on the ground, motionless. It turns out that this is the villain she used to be. By this time, her hair had turned white and she was dead.
In order to make human beings endless, Nu Wa created men with reference to the methods of biological reproduction in the world, so that men and women can cooperate with each other to have children and let human beings reproduce. She also established a marriage system to distinguish between humans and animals.
Nu Wa's children live happily on the earth. But one year, the water god Zhu Rong was at war with the fire god, and the defeated workers were so angry that they knocked down the mountain that supported the sky with their heads. As a result, there was a hole in the sky, and Tianshui poured down from here, and many parts of the earth were shattered, and the flames from the cracks burned people's homes. The flood flooded the earth and turned the world into the sea of Wang Yang.
Nu Wa was sad to see thousands of people die, and she was determined to save her children. Nu Wa came to the Yellow River, selected five colored stones, put them in a stove to make colored stones, and then filled the sinkhole with these colored stones. Nu Wa was busy in Kuya for nine days, and finally made up for it. Now the rainbow that appears after the rain clears is caused by Nu Wa filling the sky with colored stones.
When the sky is mended, Nu Wa is not at ease. She caught a 10,000-year-old giant turtle from the East China Sea, cut off its four feet and used them as Optimus Prime, standing in the four corners of the earth and supporting the four corners of heaven and earth. This kind and great mother burned a lot of reeds into ashes, filling up the ravines flooded on the ground.
Finally, people live and work in peace and contentment again.
Nu Wa's Story 2 Legend has it that a long time ago, there was no sky, no land, no mountains and lakes, no flowers and trees, no animals and birds, and no human beings. After Pangu created the world, everything came into being. I don't know which year, the western heaven suddenly collapsed, and the water in Tianhe gushed down from the gap, drowning countless people and animals, and the world suddenly became Zeguo.
At that time, there was a girl named Nu Wa who lived in a cliff hole no matter how big the water was. She witnessed the people being displaced from place to place, moved with compassion, and vowed to fill the vacancy in heaven. She left the cliff hole where she lived, climbed mountains and crossed rivers, and looked for ways to mend the sky everywhere, but to no avail.
She was so tired that she sat down to have a rest and fell asleep before she knew it. She had a very strange dream. In the dream, a fairy told her that the top of Kunlun Mountain is covered with many colorful gems, which can be used to make up the sky if refined by fire.
Nu Wa woke up and went straight to Kunlun Mountain. Kunlun Mountain is towering and steep, and there are countless monsters such as liger, which are unattainable for idle people. However, she is bent on finding the jewel to fill the sky as soon as possible and eliminating disasters for people all over the world. The road was rugged and sinister, and she ignored it and walked to the foot of Kunlun Mountain day and night. Looking up, there are jagged thorns and rocks everywhere. Not only is there no way to climb the mountain, but the top of the mountain is even higher. However, she took the bull by the horns and climbed over the rocks. Her hands and feet were scarred and her face was tattooed. She still climbs day and night. Just when she was exhausted, a tiger suddenly jumped out of the thorns and bared its teeth at her. Nu Wa was about to escape when the tiger caught her first, opened its jaws and tried to bite her head. She said quietly, don't worry, tiger. I can give you this head, but you can eat it after I go to the top of the mountain to find the gem and fill the vacancy in the sky, ok?
The tiger seemed to know what people wanted, so he let her go. When Nu Wa went up again, the mountain became steeper and steeper, and the fog became thicker and thicker. She was too tired to walk. She stumbled, crawled and rolled, and never stopped. Suddenly a gust of wind blew, and a golden lion jumped out of the forest and bit Nu Wa's hair. The tiger came up from behind and growled at the lion, saying, I'll catch this girl first and promise her to mend it and let me eat it the next day. How dare you beat me to it?
Hearing this, the lion put down his son-in-law and fought with the tiger. As a result, the lion was defeated by the tiger and drove away. But the tiger was afraid that Nu Wa would be taken away by the lion again, so he followed Nu Wa all the way to the top of the mountain.
Nu Wa finally found a five-colored gem on the top of the mountain. She picked up a lot, piled it on the top of the mountain, lit a fire, refined 998 1 day, and turned the gem into molten slurry. Nu Wa was very happy to see the molten slurry being refined. She poured the molten slurry into the sky with her hands again and again, until the gap in the sky was watertight, and she breathed a sigh of relief. At this time, people on the ground saw that the Tianhe River was no longer leaking downward, and they reorganized their homes and lived a happy life.
Nu Wa knew that she was successful and got her wish, so she fulfilled her promise and said happily to the tiger, You can eat me now!
After that, she craned her neck and waited for the tiger to eat. Strange to say, the tiger didn't come to eat, but kindly said, how can I eat a girl like you who benefits the people and sacrifices herself for others? Besides, I'm glad to see that you have completely filled the sky. It's just that you still have residual molten pulp. Isn't it more reliable to make up more?
When Nu Wa heard this, she felt that Tiger's words made sense, so she lifted all the remaining molten slurry and put her hands in the air to make up for it again. It was almost the zenith, but suddenly a strong wind blew from the South China Sea, shaking the trees and blowing away the melted pulp held by Nuwa.
Nuwa was anxious and began to cry. Seeing her like this, the tiger said to her, girl, don't cry yet. Ride on my back. Let's go.
Bring back the melted mud.
As expected, Nu Wa stopped crying and immediately rode on the tiger's back. The tiger flew up the cliff, pedaled on colorful clouds, and chased the dazzling molten slurry.
The tiger flew over three mountains and five mountains, the Yellow River and the Yangtze River on his back. He never caught up because the wind was too strong. Later, when the wind died down, they quickened their pace. Unexpectedly, the colorful molten slurry slowly fell on the vast land, so they had to chase it down hard. Catch up with Dongting Lake, and it's almost there. The tiger was happy for a while, roared a few times and slowed down. At this crackling moment, Nu Wa could not recover the molten slurry and watched it pour into Dongting Lake. As soon as the molten slurry fell into the lake, it was instantly colorful and the lake was brightly lit. Soon, the molten slurry turned into 72 peaks of different shapes, half sinking and half floating in the water, and the white jade plate-like Dongting Lake added charming scenery.
Although Nu Wa feels sorry, it is also a good thing that molten pulp falls into the world. She fell and stood on an unconsolidated mountain peak, and the emerald molten slurry was trampled under her feet, leaving a pair of deep footprints. She took a few more steps. The original soft mountain peaks condensed into an island.
I don't know how long it took. And came here with her husband, knowing the bad news of Shun. They cried to death on the mountain, which was later called Junshan.
Nu Wa's story 3 tells that there were no human beings on the land when the world was in chaos. Nu Wa, the ancestor of mankind, lived in the sea. She lives in the Crystal Palace and often visits the Dragon Palace in the East China Sea to play with fish, turtles, shrimps and crabs in the water.
One day, Nu Wa swam to the water and looked out. When she saw a land with delicious grass, she climbed up. Nu Wa landed on land and was fascinated by the beautiful scenery. She walked farther and farther, and unconsciously walked into the dense forest and lost her way. Nu Wa can't find her way back to the sea. She was hungry and thirsty, so she picked some wild fruits from the tree and ate them. She thought the wild fruit was so sweet that she even gave up the idea of returning to the sea and simply lived in the forest.
At that time, the earth was chaotic, bright and dark, hot and dark, cold and cold. With her cleverness, Nu Wa gradually adapted to life on land. When it was hot, she went into a deep cave. When it was cold, she covered herself with branches and leaves.
After a while, wolves, insects, tigers and leopards on the land learned of their new partners and came to visit Nuwa Cave in succession. Nu Wa entertained these guests with mangoes, and their lives were quite calm. Over time, wolves, insects, tigers and leopards all thought that Nu Wa was weak and easy to bully, so they came to grab her food and wanted to hurt Nu Wa. Nu Wa showed no weakness to these invaders. She used her skills in the water to make the intruders escape.
However, she gradually felt lonely. She saw that other animals were a group from the beginning, but she was the only one in the world, and no one helped the fierce beast, so she had the idea of making people. So, Nu Wa dug a lot of yellow mud around the cave and pinched it according to her own appearance. She pinched kuya for nine days, one * * *, pinched 99 little people, and finally there was a piece of mud left, which was not enough to pinch people, so she rubbed 50 pieces of mud and put them on the little people casually.
Nu Wa's project of creating human beings has been completed. She stood the clay figurine in her hole and guarded her like two rows of guards. From then on, no matter what wild animals came, they were afraid and never dared to invade Nu Wa's residence again.
Nuwa's clay figurines absorbed the aura of heaven and earth, and over time, they all became real people. One more piece of mud makes a man, and the rest makes a woman. There are 50 men, 49 women and 99 people. They are all sons and daughters of Nu Wa, that is, the ancestors of mankind.
