Dating judgment of the manuscripts of Historical Records.

Zuo Zhuan: According to legend, it was written by Zuo Qiuming at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period to explain Confucius' Spring and Autumn Annals. It began in the year of Luyin (722 BC) and ended in the fourth year of Lu Daogong (464 BC).

Mencius: About twenty-five years in Zhou Nanwang, Xinmao (290 BC).

Historical records: written in the Western Han Dynasty, from 104 BC to 9 1 year BC.

Hanshu: The book was written later than the historical records, about the Eastern Han Dynasty, more than 50 years BC.

Three Kingdoms: Western Jin Dynasty, about 280 AD.

Zi Zhi Tong Jian: In the Northern Song Dynasty, from the third year of Ye Ping (AD 1066) to the seventh year of Yuanfeng (AD 1084).
