1. Applicant: China citizens and foreigners aged 14.
2. Application procedure: With my ID card (or military ID card and passport) and 1 inch recent photo 1 piece, fill out the Application Form for Reader's Card of Shenzhen Library, select the required functions and pay the corresponding fees.
Third, the function of reader's card.
(1) reading function? Vouchers are used to read publications and newspapers, and guarantee books, ancient books, microform materials, local documents in Shenzhen, and documents from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao; Use video-on-demand and Internet services; Browse the electronic newspaper and consult the database.
(2) Chinese literature borrowing function: you can borrow up to 5 Chinese documents at a time (including Chinese books, Chinese periodicals, audio-visual materials and Braille documents, of which 2 Braille documents are limited).
(3) Foreign language book borrowing function: each card can borrow 1 volume of imported original foreign language books.
(4) Shenzhen Public Library Netcom lending and returning function? In addition to the library's borrowing function, each card can also borrow 2 Chinese books from the agreement library of Shenzhen Public Library Network (the prerequisite for applying for this function is to have the Chinese literature borrowing function first). ?
(5) Prepayment function: Readers can voluntarily prepay a certain amount of cash (you can choose to prepay 10, 20, 50, 100 yuan) to facilitate the settlement of overdue fees, damages, printing and other expenses.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) registration method: the reader's card is registered every two years, and the period is two years from the date of application. When registering, please fill in the "Shenzhen Library Reader's Card Registration Form", which you can handle at the main service desk. Readers who fail to register as scheduled after two years will be suspended until they are re-registered.
6. How to report the loss, reissue it and return the certificate?
(1) If you lose your ID card, you should immediately call 8284 1200 ~ 03 or log on to the "My Library" section of the website of Shenzhen Library to report the loss. If fraudulent use occurs due to failure to report the loss or lend, it shall bear relevant compensation and other consequences;
(two) after reporting the loss, you need to bring your ID card (or military card, passport) and pay the replacement fee;
(3) When returning the card, please pay off the borrowed books and periodicals and the fees owed (including borrowing books from the city lending and returning system and the fees owed), and get back the corresponding deposit with the reader's card, my ID card and deposit receipt.
Seven, matters needing attention?
(a) The reader's card is for personal use only, and the holder shall be responsible for his reader's card and the documents borrowed. ?
(2) The default password of the new card is the date of birth of the card reader (8 digits, such as 198 108 12), and the password of the old card remains unchanged (limited to 2-8 digits); ?
(3) Readers can modify the password through the "My Library" column on the website of Shenzhen Library, or click "Forgot Password" and set a new password after correctly answering the password prompt.
Eight. Preferential treatment measures for the elderly and the disabled: All the elderly and the disabled who are over 60 years old can give priority to all kinds of certification matters.
