A misty rain makes a lifetime —— Thoughts on reading Su Dongpo's biography

The Biography of Su Dongpo was written in 1936 when Lin Yutang and his family went to the United States to have fun. Mr. Lin likes Su Dongpo very much and brings many precious ancient books about Su Dongpo and his works. Yes, not just Mr. Lin Yutang. As a China person, who doesn't like Mr Dongpo? As Mr. Lin Yutang said in the original preface: "Su Like Dongpo, a noble scholar who is so creative, so upright, so bold and unrestrained, so fascinating and far behind, makes people feel rich in spiritual food when his works are placed on the bookshelf."

? As a native of China, Su Dongpo's three words should be well known. For Meizhou, Sichuan, they are proud. Su Dongpo is from Meizhou. For Kaifeng, the ancient capital, although there were too many celebrities here in the Song Dynasty, Su Dongpo was definitely a shining star. For Hangzhou, it is always appropriate to make the West Lake more beautiful than the West Lake, leaving Su Causeway; For Huangzhou (now Huanggang, Hubei), he left a "river of no return, and the waves were exhausted", leaving a favorite "Dongpo Meat"; For Zhan Zhou (now Hainan), there are "300 lychees a day, even if you grow up to be a Lingnan person". Of course, there are still many places where Su Dongpo left his footprints. He once lobbied his younger brother: "I can accompany the Jade Emperor to heaven, or I can accompany beggars to the ground. There are no bad people in the world before me. " Su Shi, known as the "friend of the people", is a monk, Taoist, peddler and geisha. There is no one who can't speak, and his temperament is so bold and broad-minded.

At the same time, Su Dongpo's all-round genius-like achievements in literature are unparalleled in writing lyrics, which were originally a ditty for geisha to please guests in the early Song Dynasty. Su Dongpo got it, and the realm was wide open. He started the wild school, wrote prose and wrote it into the "Eight Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties", and his calligraphy was "Song Sijia" (Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fei and Cai Xiang became the representatives of Huzhou Bamboo School because of their good paintings of strange stones and ink bamboo. More importantly, he is a Buddhist, a wine-making experimenter, a monk, a yoga enthusiast and so on. In his 65-year life, Yi * * wrote more than 2,700 poems, more than 300 words, more than 4,800 essays, and countless paintings and calligraphy works.

Speaking of Su Dongpo, what is more important to the world is his attitude towards life. No matter the ups and downs of his official career, the road of exile, imprisonment or even death, he can face it calmly, let it be, and live high's inner joy. Su Dongpo gives the impression that he is enthusiastic and broad-minded, and he likes his calm:

On March 7th, it was raining on Shahu Road, and all the servants with rain gear left. The same people felt embarrassed, but I didn't think so. The rain gear comes first, and the peers are in chaos. I didn't know it at first, but when I found out, I pretended to use this word.

Don't pay attention to the beating rain in the forest. Mei sings a long whistle and walks leisurely. Bamboo poles and sandals are more dexterous than riding horses. What's to be afraid of? A raincoat and hemp fiber, despite the wind and rain, still live my life.

The coolness of spring breeze awakens my wine, and the cold begins to be cold, and the peak of the sun is the sun, but it is satisfied in time. Looking back at the place where I met the wind and rain, going back, for me, there is no wind and rain, but it is still sunny.

Su Dongpo's conversation with his friends before his death was very interesting: on July 28th, he quickly weakened and felt short of breath. ... when the whole family is in the house. The abbot walked close to him and said to his ear, "Now, if you want to live!" " Su Dongpo said softly: "There may be a western paradise; What's the use of dreaming? " Qian Shixiong stood by and said to Su Dongpo, "Now, you'd better think so." Su Dongpo's last words were: "It is wrong to think reluctantly." This is his Taoist truth, and the way out lies in nature. I don't know what is good and do good.

Mr. Dongpo passed away, leaving us with the joy of mind, the joy of thought and an open-minded life.
