Handan Library was founded in the mid-1950s, and its predecessor was the Cultural Center Library. /kloc-0 was named Handan Library in June, 1978, and moved to No.98 Renmin Road in June, 1982, with a construction area of over 6,000 square meters. In July 2009, the original site was demolished, and the new library of Handan City started construction on September 9, 2009, and was officially opened to the public on September 6, 20 14.
Handan Library has 18 service windows, including literature comprehensive reading room, social science comprehensive reading room, self-study comprehensive reading room, current issue reading room, back issue reading room, parent-child reading room, children's reading room, ancient book reading room, local literature reading room, government public information reading room and reference book reading room, with more than 1000 readers.
