Who is the author of Chuanshan Encyclopedia?

The book Chuanshan was compiled by Yuelu Bookstore in 1982, and all volumes of 16 were published in 1996. After several twists and turns during the period, the Chronicle of Chuanshan Book contained in sixteen volumes has been described in detail. After the book was published, the academic community responded enthusiastically and gave a high evaluation. The editing and proofreading quality of the whole book is also concerned by the academic circles. These are undoubtedly useful spurs and encouragement for editors.

In order to obtain a more complete version of Chuanshan's works with as few defects as possible, Yuelu Bookstore commissioned Mr. Sui Wendi to start the revision of Chuanshan Quanshu in 2005. Considering Mr. Xia's advanced age, at Mr. Xia's suggestion, social elites urged Mr. Xia to help him read his ninth to thirteenth volumes. Over the past few years, Mr. Yang and Mr. Xia have been striving for perfection, not only revising the whole book word by word against the original version, but also revising all kinds of criticisms collected by the academic circles together with the errors listed in the "errata" in the original book. On March 6, 20 10, Mr. Yang died of illness, and the review of the sixteen volumes of the book has been completed. The unfinished work of correcting and further standardizing the style according to the review and revision opinions is undertaken by the project department of Huxiang Library.
