When did the Regulations on the Protection of Cultural Relics come into effect?
The Regulations for the Implementation of the Law on the Protection of Cultural Relics in People's Republic of China (PRC) is an implementation regulation formulated according to the Law on the Protection of Cultural Relics in People's Republic of China (PRC). On May 8, 2003, the the State Council Order of the People's Republic of China (No.377) was promulgated, and it will come into force on July 6, 2003. Chapter VIII of the Regulations consists of 64 articles, including general provisions, immovable cultural relics, archaeological excavations, cultural relics in collections, cultural relics in folk collections, cultural relics entering and leaving the country, legal responsibilities and supplementary provisions.
