Yantai Library has 24 service windows and more than 800 reading seats. There is also an 800-square-meter multifunctional exhibition hall, which holds various exhibitions of paintings, calligraphy and pictures all the year round. The 243 academic lecture halls (Yantai Concert Hall) equipped with 6-channel synchronous sound translation system can host large-scale academic lectures and concerts at home and abroad. At present, there are more than 200 microcomputers, which realize the automatic management of various business tasks, and access the Internet through 10M optical fiber, with the IP address of 16. Provide readers and users with services such as book borrowing, answering questions, translation and retrieval, topic selection service, tracking service, multimedia reading and online inquiry. Yantai Library currently has 79 staff members, including senior professionals 16, 36 intermediate professionals, and 74% have college education or above. Internal institutions are: loan department (including newspaper room), technical department, children's department (Yantai Children's Library), editorial department, research and counseling department, exhibition department, office and general affairs department.
