In the Spring and Autumn Period, Bian He, a Chu, said that a phoenix was seen perched on the bluestone board in Jingshan (now Nanzhang County, Hubei Province). According to the saying that "the phoenix does not fall without treasure", he concluded that there was treasure on the mountain.
