Creating French Style is a book published by Song Chongning in the second year (1 103). The author is Li Jie, who edited Mu Jing by Zhejiang craftsman Yu Hao. It is a standard book of architectural design and construction officially promulgated by the Northern Song Dynasty. It is the most complete architectural technical work in ancient China, marking the development of ancient architecture in China to a higher stage.
The book has 34 volumes, 357 articles and 3555 articles. It is the collection and summary of architectural design and construction experience at that time, which has a far-reaching influence on later generations. The original book "French Style in Yuan You" was compiled by Yuan You in the sixth year (109 1), but because there is no modular system, that is, the use of "materials", it is impossible to make strict regulations on the proportion and materials of buildings, and the architectural design and construction are still very random. Li Jie was ordered to re-edit and finally became this book. There are 36 volumes in the book, which are divided into five parts: name explanation, work system, work boundary, examples and attached drawings, with 1 volume "sample" and table of contents in front. See examples mainly to explain the previous fixed data and practices, such as the practice of roof curve.
