Heishuiguo Site, also known as Heishuiguo Castle, commonly known as Heishuiguo or Old Ganzhou, is also known as the old city of Ganzhou by the people. It is a post station on the Silk Road with a history of more than 4,000 years. It is a huge "historical ancient book" in Ganzhou, which integrates ancient cities of Han and Tang Dynasties, prehistoric sites, ancient temple sites, ancient villages, ancient tombs, ancient culture, scenery, sand dunes, lakes, ludang and ancient tombs. Standing here, as if standing at the height of history, we can see the long years, the Vietnamese grazing livestock, the Sino-Hungarian war, the expropriation of land in the county, the trading of tea and horses, the garrison of soldiers, and the destruction of the ancient city by sandstorms. ...

Beauty of ruins

Jin Zhangye! "One lake, mountains and rivers, half city towers, continuous reeds and ancient temples everywhere", taking the bell and drum tower as the center, it would be a wonderful thing to have a cultural tour in four directions, southeast and northwest. Where are the Great Buddha Temple, Xilai Temple, Wanshou Wooden Pagoda, Zhangye Granary in Ming Dynasty and Gao Company commanders mansion ... You don't need to linger all day to enjoy its long history and cultural atmosphere? But our eyes have long been drawn to the edge of the city.

There is a site of Heishui State in Mingyong Township, northwest of Ganzhou City 12.5km. The ancient city is divided into north and south cities. The two cities are opposite, about 3 kilometers apart, and the 3 12 national highway passes between them. The northern city was built when the Huns occupied Hexi and was used as Zhangye County by the Han Dynasty. Tang Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty and Ming Dynasty all set up post stations in Beicheng. It was a long time before Cheng Nan was built. Built in the Tang Dynasty, it was used in the Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties.

On the site of Heishui Kingdom, Mr. Yu Youren once wrote a poem: "The sand and grass blur the black water's edge, and there is no history of Wang Jianguo. Zhongyuan cookers are long bones, and Daji inscriptions are straw bricks. " This poem evokes people's curiosity: what kind of river is called black water on the edge of Gobi where sand and grass are blurred? What kind of ancient city is called Blackwater Country?

First go to Cheng Nan, ruins, broken walls, dead trees and wild birds. Far away, a mound of tens of meters high first appeared in the field of vision, with the entrance to Cheng Nan in the east. Two tall mound doors form a natural gap. Outside the city, they look like two ordinary mounds, but the ideal city is hidden in the middle, bypassing the gap of the mounds.

Climb up the wall along the quicksand pile by the wall. In the core area of the city, the layout of streets and buildings is faintly visible, and the architectural sites are dense. Between weeds and gravel, there are a lot of bricks, tiles and pottery pieces scattered from Han Dynasty to Wei and Jin Dynasties, which makes people appreciate the beauty of ruins.

Climb up the corner pier along the dirt road, which is the highest place in Cheng Nan. Overlooking the whole of Cheng Nan, we find that the walls of this ancient city are well preserved, and we can see the whole wall clearly.

Out of Cheng Nan, not far to the east is the site of Heishui Kingdom in the northern city. The north city is Seoul, eroded by the long years.

As the sun sets, it is more like a red dragon that is about to become invisible. Different from Wanaji, this northern city is full of tall and straight poplars, and the leaves rustle in the wind, just like the pulse of Heihe River.

Along the dense Yang Shulin, we walked to the depths of the North City. It seemed that we were approaching the edge, and a small gap appeared in the middle of the city wall. Through the gap, an invisible reed appeared.

Where there is water, there are reeds. This area full of reeds in front of us is the dry crescent lake, which is closely related to the black water.

Crescent Lake is named after its crescent shape, and the former Heishui North City thrived on this lake.

The ancient city of Heishui was built on the west side of Heihe River and on the platform of alluvial fan. This platform was formed by the historical impact deposition of Heihe River, and the thickness of loess layer is more than 7 meters, which makes the site of Heishui Guocheng not only have drinking water sources, but also not be attacked by floods. So, why was Gu Chenghui, a blackwater country, upgraded to "Blackwater Country" by later generations?

Tragic war

A local friend told a folklore: A long time ago, Blackwater was an endless swamp lake. With the passage of time, the lake gradually dried up and became a plain with abundant water plants. Later, a man named Yue moved here, settled the field and built the city, and established the capital and the country. Because it is close to Blackwater, it is named Blackwater Country. There is also a saying that Heishui State is named after "Black Hungary". It is said that Heishui Prefecture was built by Huns. The powerful Xiongnu tribe used to graze and live here and establish a country. Because the Huns have dark skin, foreigners call them "black Hungary", hence the name "Black Water Country".

There is also a bitter war hidden here, and Huo Qubing's crusade against Xiongnu took place here.

At that time, Huo Qubing took the strategy of long-distance attack, with the trend of hurricane and lightning speed, raided the enemy's heart, showed great power and deterred the enemy, captured Guo Xiang, the son of the evil king of Xiongnu, a surname and other dignitaries alive in Mande City, beheaded more than 8,000 people, and dealt a heavy blow to the arrogant Xiongnu. The name of Gade City also appeared many times in Han bamboo slips unearthed in Juyan, so experts judged that the site of Heishui State was located in Hande County and Zhangye County.

Throughout that period of history, farming culture and nomadic culture collided and smeared each other on the site of Heishui River, giving birth to beautiful patterns like Heishui River in the sunset. People of different nationalities come and go here, on and off, mixed together.

Amazing secret

Both Maide City in the Xiongnu period and Zhangye County in the Han Dynasty were once places where merchants were like boats, envoys gathered and people were noisy. Zhangye County in the Western Han Dynasty has ten counties under its jurisdiction, which shows its prosperity and brilliance.

With human activities and buildings, there will be tombs. There are dense ancient tombs 3 kilometers north and south and 5 kilometers east and west in Heishui. At the same time, outside the Blackwater country, the large-scale ancient tombs distributed along the ancient advance canal are also amazing. Due to the existence of buildings and a large number of ancient tombs in Han Dynasty, the number and types of bricks in Han Dynasty are the most complicated. It is estimated that there are120,000 bricks in brick tombs alone. They were used by local craftsmen to build the 490-meter-long wall of the southern city of Heishui. Therefore, the southern city of Heishui was built on the ancient tomb in Wei and Jin Dynasties.

Blackwater has left the world with more than the ups and downs of this city. Its South City and North City are just the tip of the iceberg of Heishui State, and the archaeological value of the pre-historical cultural sites of Heishui State is much higher than that of South City and North City.

Prehistoric cultural sites are located in the middle of two cities. The smelting remains hidden under the stratum prove that there must be a bronze road connecting West Asia, Central Asia and East Asia in the Hexi Corridor from Xinjiang to Gansu around 2000 BC, which spread not only bronze technology and bronzes, but also many materials and concepts, such as cattle, horses, sheep and related technologies. ...

If we rediscover the cultural sites before the national history of Heishui, its scope should be expanded and extended. How many amazing secrets are hidden under this soil layer?
