The last Zhang Tianshi of Taoism was in that era.

1949, the national government retreated to Taiwan Province province, and the 63rd generation of Zhang Tianshi Enpu moved to Taiwan Province via Shaoguan, Guangzhou, Macau, Hong Kong and other places, and settled in Dong Jue Xiu Palace, Dalong, Taipei, founded the Taoist Association of Taiwan Province Province, and set up the Hanshi Tianfu Office in Taiwan Province. Because his eldest son died of illness in his early years, he ordered Zhang to retire and learn Taoism. 1969, Zhang enpu made his mark, and Zhang, a legislator surnamed Zhang from Taiwan Province and a legislator from Jiangxi, succeeded him as his agent. Zhang built another house in Guoxing Township, Nantou County. 1949 after the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), Shitianfu in Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi Province has lost its status as Shi Tian. Later, Lu Jintao, the grandson of Zhang Enpu, changed his surname to Zhang and presided over Taoist affairs in Longhushan. Zhang Jiyu, the grandson of Zhang Enpu's younger brother, was the vice president of the Chinese Taoist Association. Due to the influence of the political situation on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, there is a dispute over who will take over Shi Tian's post. After Zhang appeared, there were different opinions about the successor of the 64th generation. Mr Bird once pointed out that although he has no son, he still has a cousin. At the same time, he already has a candidate for the 64th generation of Zhang Tianshi, but this secret can't be leaked, and if he is still alive, there will be no 64th generation of Shi Tian. On June 10, 2009, Zhang Daozhen announced that he would inherit Zhang Tianshi, the 64th descendant of Taoism, which was confirmed by the internal affairs department of Taiwan Province Province, and finally ended the dispute over Zhang Tianshi.
