Where is Du Fu Caotang in Chengdu?

Du Fu Cottage refers to Chengdu Du Fu Cottage Museum, which is located at No.37, Tsinghua Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is the former residence of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty in China, when he lived in Chengdu. Du Fu lived here for nearly four years and wrote more than 240 poems. Wei Zhuang, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty, discovered the former site of the thatched cottage and rebuilt it to preserve it. It was repaired and expanded in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Covering an area of nearly 300 mu, the thatched cottage has completely preserved the architectural pattern of reconstruction and expansion in the 13th year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1500) and 16th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 18 1 1), with simple and elegant architecture and beautiful gardens. This is a sacred place in the history of China literature. Du Fu Memorial Hall was established in 1955, and 1985 was renamed Chengdu Du Fu Caotang Museum.

Chengdu Du Fu Caotang Museum is the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, the first batch of national first-class museums and national key ancient books protection units. National AAAA tourist attractions, which are the largest, best preserved, most famous and most distinctive in China. Du Fu's whereabouts are still the same, and the annual number of tourists exceeds one million.
