Is Aurora University the same as Fudan University?

Fudan University was formerly known as Sinian College founded by Ma Yu 1902.

More than a year after the school started in Sinian, most students, led by Yu Youren, left school angrily because of the interference of French church forces and the usurpation of school administration. 1905, they embraced Ma again and founded Fudan College, the name of which was chosen by Yu Youren, indicating that they would never forget the past of "Sinian", which was of great significance for rejuvenating China.

195 1 At the request of President Chen Wangdao, President Mao Zedong wrote the name of Fudan University. After receiving the title, Fudan University enlarged and copied it to the plaque of the school gate, and then used it for school envelopes, stationery, school badges, diploma covers, etc. The original was carefully framed by Rong Baozhai and kept in the school archives.
