Word chooses books to be folded in half. How to print A3 on both sides?

1. First, open the document to be set, and click the page layout option in the document.

2. Then click Page Setup in the page layout. After opening page setup, switch to margins.

3. Find the page number range in the margin interface, click the drop-down button next to it, and select the book fold.

4. In page setup, switch the page to paper, select A3 in paper size, and then click OK.

After opening word, under the File option, under Page Setup, do the following:

1. Select Horizontal for the tab Margins and Book Folding for the multi-page drop-down list, as shown below:

Step 2 set the layout

In the production of this book, we designed the home page as the cover, so the home page does not need a header and footer. In addition, in book pages, the header content of odd pages is different from that of even pages, so the header of even pages needs to be added with the title of the book, while the header of odd pages contains chapter titles. Therefore, you need to set the corresponding options in the layout.

The specific setting method is as follows: Select Page Setup from the File menu, open the Page Setup dialog box, click the Layout tab in the Page Setup dialog box, and select the check boxes of "Different Parity Pages" and "Different First Pages" in the "Header and Eyebrow Feet" option area to further set the header and footer. When the settings are finished, click OK to close the Page Setup dialog box. As shown in the figure.

3. If the "Paper" option is A3 Folding, select A3 Paper (A3 prints two pages, and the middle folding size is A4), and select manual paper feeding, as shown in the figure (I don't have a printer here, so I choose automatic paper feeding):

4. On the Print Options tab, in the Paper option, set the Default Paper Tray and select Manual Paper Feed;

5. Under the File option, click Print, and then do the following: Select the Manual Duplex Printing box and confirm.

6. After confirming printing, the printer will automatically inform you. You can directly click the "Start Copying" button to start printing. Take an 8-page color page as an example: click "Start Copying" to print directly 1 and 8 pages, then 3 and 6 pages. The contents of two pieces of A4 paper are as follows: The results of the first printing are marked as A: from left to right: pages 8 and 650. The second printing result marked with B: from left to right: page 6 and page 3;

Turn A and B upside down, put them in order, with A at the top, B and C at the back ..., click the prompt information prompted by the computer to put away the printing paper and put it aside, and click OK to print on A and B:

The first page is the printed result of the reverse side of A: from left to right: pages 2 and 7; The second page is the printed result of the reverse side of B: from left to right: pages 4 and 5;

And then bind them in sequence. Divide the content into two columns: in "format" and "column" Set the distance between the two columns to be larger.

If it is a laser printer, print odd pages first, then put 1 page on it, and then arrange it in order, with the printing face down and the header on the left, and print even pages in turn.

If it is a stylus printer, you also need to print odd pages first, and even pages will be placed with the text facing up and the header on the left. Have you set up your page settings? Do you want to choose A3 paper and orientation? Because of the size of A3 paper and A4 paper, you can print and preview the main page settings first.
