Differences between Hunan Ethnic Affairs Committee and Ethnic Affairs Committee
There is no difference. 1995 March 15, the 12th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth National Committee of China People's Political Consultative Conference decided to merge the Ethnic Affairs Committee and the Religious Affairs Committee into the Ethnic Affairs Committee. Hunan Ethnic Affairs Bureau and Ethnic Affairs Committee merged into 1995, which belong to the same department, and there is no difference. Hunan Province, referred to as "Xiang" for short, is the provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), bordering Jiangxi in the east, Chongqing and Guizhou in the west, Guangdong and Guangxi in the south and Hubei in the north.
