Why did Manchu seal nature and open things?

1637, Song, who completely cut off the imperial examination thought, wrote a book called "Heavenly Creations". This is a comprehensive book about agriculture and handicraft production, but it focuses more on handicraft industry and reflects the productive forces of capitalism in the late Ming Dynasty. After the book was published in the first edition of Chongzhen ten years ago, it quickly aroused widespread concern in society. Academics have quoted a large number of related expositions of the book, and the book-engraving circles have spread it one after another.

Nevertheless, this book did not cause a great sensation in China, even in the Qing Dynasty, it was banned by the court.

/kloc-In the second half of the 8th century, Emperor Qianlong set up the Siku Library to collect, inspect, modify and destroy China ancient books, which was called the Siku Quanshu in history. Among them, in the books presented in Jiangxi, the Complete Works of Fang Yutang by Song Yingsheng, the elder brother of Song Dynasty, and some works by friends of Song Dynasty were found, which advocated "the discrimination between Chinese and foreigners" and had anti-Qing thoughts. After the Manchu entered the customs, in order to consolidate the rule and eliminate the subjective consciousness of the Han nationality, many ancient books that were not conducive to their own rule were revised or destroyed. In this context, Wu Kai in Tiangong was not spared, so that after nearly 300 years of Manchu rule, this book basically disappeared in China.

However, in sharp contrast, Tiangong Wu Kai was widely spread to Japan at the end of 17. At that time, Japanese production technology was backward, and they often felt inferior collectively because they could not produce products comparable to China. The arrival of "Heavenly Creations" has made Japan a treasure land. The government regards it as a basic book of production technology, and it is regarded as a guide in the "planting industry" of Japanese princes. Moreover, all kinds of scientific and technological achievements contained in the book, such as the method of sinking lead and sticking silver, the method of making copper alloys, the design of large-scale seagoing ships, jacquard machines, zinc smelting technology, etc., have been studied in Japan, and a large number of them should be the production and life of Japanese nationals.

Of course, the greater influence of heavenly creations is in Europe. Although Wu Kai in the Heavenly Palace was written at the end of the Ming Dynasty, China's national strength was not so strong. Nevertheless, China's economic aggregate at that time was second to none in the world. China's long-term accumulation of science and technology is unmatched in Europe, and its products are the best in the world. Therefore, after the "Heavenly Creativeness" spread to Europe, people treated each other with strange books, which soon caused a sensation.

Heavenly Creations has attracted much attention in Europe, mainly because of the gap between the East and the West. China is famous for producing excellent products, many of which are imported from Europe, but they want to imitate medieval products without laws. The emergence of heavenly creations just makes up for various technical deficiencies in Europe.
