I. Liye-Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Scenic Area
Liye-Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Scenic Area was built in 1980s, formerly known as Piduhe Scenic Area. 1996 was approved by the provincial people's government as the fifth batch of scenic spots in the province, and it was renamed in 2003.
Scenic spots include Liye Scenic Spot, Bamian Mountain Scenic Spot, Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Grand Canyon Scenic Spot, Tarot Scenic Spot and Car Wash River Scenic Spot, with a total area of 269.9 square kilometers, of which the core scenic spot 160 square kilometers.
Second, the ancient city of Riye
The ancient city of Liye is an important town on the border of Youshui River, and it is known as the "Golden Boy of Chu and Shu" in history. "Liye" is a Tujia language, which means to reclaim and cultivate land. It is the birthplace of Tujia people. As early as 6000 years ago, Hino was inhabited.
The site of Liye ancient city is about 20,000 square meters. Three ancient wells were found in this area, and nearly 30 thousand Qin bamboo slips were taken out from one of them, named "No.1 Well". As Qin bamboo slips are translated page by page by archaeologists, the history of the Qin Dynasty will be rewritten, the mystery of the ages will be solved, and Liye will begin to be understood by the world.
3. Tomb of the Warring States Period in Liye Maicha?
The tomb of the Warring States Period in Liye Maicha, the tomb of Chu in the middle and late Warring States Period. National key cultural relics protection units. Located in Maicha Village, Liye Town, Longshan, Hunan Province. The cemetery covers an area of about 4 square kilometers. During 1989 and 2002-2003, 286 graves were cleared. Tombs are distributed on 10 low hills, arranged in an orderly way, generally centered on the tombs at the top of the mountain, with undulating terrain around.
Fourth, Tarot Geopark.
Tarot Geopark is located in Longshan, Hunan, with a total area of 142.66 square kilometers. There are rich geological relics here. * * * There are 8 types of karst landforms, 1 1 karst morphological characteristics, 340 large and small caves, and the stone forest covers an area of 62 square kilometers. It is a natural karst geological park with great sightseeing and scientific research value.
As early as the 1970s, the Ministry of Geology designated this place as the research base of the Institute of Karst Geology of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences and the internship base of the Graduate School of China Geo University.
Five, Bamian Mountain
Bamian Mountain is located in the south of Longshan County, bordering Youyang County and Xiushan County in Chongqing in the west. The terrain is like a boat, and Bamian Mountain looks like a sleeping beauty from Liye, above the mountains. At the same time, the scenic spot is also one of the main attractions of the "Mysterious Summer in Xiangxi" activity led by the Propaganda Department of Xiangxi Prefecture Committee.
It is about 22 kilometers long from north to south, more than 5 kilometers wide and only 2 kilometers at its narrowest point. The terrain on the mountain boundary is flat, with grassland landforms and hills. The total area is 52 square kilometers. Average elevation 1200m, highest peak 14 16m.
