Introduction to the General Contents and Abstracts of the Continuation of Sikuquanshu

The Summary of the Continuation of Sikuquanshu (also known as the Summary of the Continuation of Sikuquanshu and the Summary of the Continuation of Sikuquanshu) is a large-scale ancient book summary (including some modern works) compiled by China scholars in Peiping in the 1920s and 1940s under the leadership of the Japanese-controlled cultural institution Oriental Culture General Committee, which records the summary of Sikuquanshu. Taken together, the Summary of Continuation and the General Catalogue of Four Treasures of the Study can be considered as basically reflecting the general situation of ancient books in China.
