Hangzhou West Lake
West Lake, located atNo. 1 Longjing Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, in the west of Hangzhou City, has a total scenic area of 49 square kilometers, a catchment area of 2 1.22 square kilometers and a lake surface area of 6.38 square kilometers. Leifeng Pagoda/Leifeng Pagoda
Leifeng Pagoda was built on Zhaoqian Mountain on the south bank of West Lake in order to pray for the peace of the country and people in the second year of Taiping and Xingguo in the Northern Song Dynasty (977). Leifeng Pagoda is named because it was built on Leifeng Mountain in Zhao Xi on the south bank of West Lake.
The folk name refers to Leifeng Pagoda, but few people know the Emperor Princess Pagoda. As for the origin of Lei Feng's name, according to the record of Lin 'an in Spring Tour, it was named after Lei, a native of the old county, who lived in a temple. It has also been confirmed that Zhongfeng is also known as Huifeng, and the word Huifeng is Lao Lei.
