"Master" is the name of function words in China ancient classical Chinese. A Textual Research on Zhuzi by Liu Qi in Qing Dynasty was written in the reign of Kangxi, which is the earliest work devoted to the study of Chinese function words in China. It collects 476 classical Chinese words from function words, covering many disyllabic words, which can be summarized into 30 categories, such as emphasis words, auxiliary words, sayings and precepts. It is explained by six methods: correction training, opposition training, general training, borrowing training, mutual training and transfer training.

After many times, there are engravings of Changbai Guotai Edition and Haiyuan Pavilion Edition, as well as the towel box edition printed according to Haiyuan Pavilion Edition and Changsha Yangjichang engraving. 1939 Bookstore publishes a proofreading edition. This edition is printed according to punctuation marks in Yang's Changsha Book, with corrections and corrections, notes from each school, and an index.
