We who study Buddhism should know the common sense of sutra release. For example, all the twelve classics of Sanzang, no matter which one, should be regarded as more important than life and more important than any treasure. The Diamond Sutra says, "Where there are scriptures, there are buddhas." Therefore, the classics are the Buddha's dharma body.
Printing classics, reading classics and respecting classics can inspire infinite wisdom; However, if you don't respect scripture, it can also corrupt people. The matters that should be paid attention to when placing the scriptures are briefly described as follows:
Buddhist scriptures are the magic weapon and guide for all beings to get rid of suffering. Should be respected. If it is damaged, it should be repaired quickly, and it should not be burned or discarded. Classics are all protected by dragon day, and if they are left to be destroyed and abandoned, their crimes are limitless.
Buddhist scriptures should be placed on top of other books. The arrangement levels of classics, dharma and theory are from top to bottom: original classics, classic annotations, general Buddhist books, sage lectures, educational books and general books.
Don't scribble on the scriptures, and don't read them while talking and eating.
Scriptures should be respectfully placed in a clean and high place, and should not be thrown on beds, chairs, low tables or unclean places at will.
If you hold it in your hand or put it in your pocket, it should not be lower than your waist or under your arm.
Don't put sundries on the desk where you read the Bible, don't read it lying down, and don't touch it with dirty hands.
Don't blow dust on your mouth, but wipe it with a special clean cloth.
If the study and bedroom are in the same room (single room clean room only), the classics should be covered with a clean cloth and placed on the other side of the head when sleeping.
Don't have all kinds of filth where the classics are.
When you stop watching, you should put a note to mark it. Don't fold, bend corners or write in herringbone.
You should concentrate on reading classics. If you have any distractions, close the famous works first and read them later.
If you don't have time to read it, pass it on to others and spread it widely.
Don't read the Bible in the bathroom.
Don't turn pages with saliva.
