Yuan Mei, born on March 25th of 17 16, died on March 3rd of 1798 10, and was named Jian Zhai. In his later years, he was named Cangshan lay man, Suiyuan master and Suiyuan old man. ? Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang) was born in Cixi, Zhejiang. Poet, essayist, literary critic and gourmet in Qing Dynasty.

Yuan Mei is not talented and good at writing poems.
