The wind made waves on the sea. In Buddhism, what does the wind represent and what does the sea surface represent? What do waves represent? What's the connection between them?

The sea surface represents authenticity, that is, "truth, reality, Buddha nature and Tathagata." . . . . . ",is such as motionless;

Wind represents the delusion of all beings, that is, delusion, separation and persistence;

Waves represent that all beings cling to the truth, take falsehood and cling to the truth because of their infatuation, separation and persistence, so they fall into the big dream of ignorance and recognize falsehood as truth. This illusion is reported according to the pros and cons, which is called subjective and objective in philosophy.
